About

My Story

Welcome! My name is Emma and I’m the founder of Many Measures. I came to coaching first as a coachee, having hit rock bottom in terms of confidence and with no idea which way to go. I only knew that I didn’t want to keep doing what I was doing. Coaching helped me to find my way and the experience inspired me to become a coach to help others do the same.

My Approach

I specialise in working with individuals and organisations in transition – helping you to feel confident navigating the changing landscapes and shifting priorities on route to your goals. My style is warm, supportive, and strengths based. I’ve found that fear and Imposter Syndrome slow progress more than any lack of skill, so together we work to identify and shift any outdated or incorrect assumptions that might be holding you back.

Before founding Many Measures, I worked in the tech industry where I led a global team of 25 consultants through a period of rapid expansion and significant change. I was also 1 of 3 designated Mental Health First Aiders for 150+ employees. I bring this expertise to my coaching, where I work with you and/or your organisation to develop the confidence, trust, and emotional awareness to successfully navigate change.

Qualifications

I gained an accredited Diploma as a Transformational Coach through Animas Centre for Coaching. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider for Adults. I hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Richmond (USA) and an MSc in Gender, Development, and Globalisation from the London School of Economics (UK). My studies around social psychology and gender help me work with you to explore the social scripts and expectations we experience in our lives and relationships. I’m currently working towards ICF Qualification for 2019.
