Personal Coaching

Personal coaching is a powerful way to explore what you want out of life, where you want to go, and how to get there.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a safe, supportive space to explore and, ultimately, to move forward.  Coaching is a deeply curious way of listening, asking questions, and supporting clients to see and choose the best path for themselves.  A core tenet of my coaching is that you are the expert on  your life.  Coaching helps you to see the options which you might not have realised were available so  you can  choose what’s best for you.   Coaching is a way of  being completely heard, so that the hidden patterns in your thinking become visible.  It is a space where you can express anything in complete confidence and know that I am always on your side.

What will we do?

Above all, we’ll have a conversation.  I’ll ask lots of questions and mirror things back to  you, so that you can see your thinking from another perspective.  We’ll look at how certain beliefs that feel ‘real’ or ‘true’ might actually not be, and might even be stopping you from achieving your goals. I’ll highlight where I hear patterns or contradictions in what you’re saying and offer my insight for you to explore. We’ll agree an outcome at the start of each session and an action at the end.  In the next session, we’ll check on progress.

How does it work?

  • We start with a free introductory call to discuss what you’d like to get from coaching and agree the coaching relationship.  This call generally lasts about 45 minutes.
  • Coaching can be over the phone, Skype, or in person.  
  • Sessions typically last an hour (we may finish slightly earlier if it feels like a natural stopping point or run slightly over if it doesn’t).

Pace

I recommend weekly sessions for the first 2-3 sessions, with further sessions spaced every 2 weeks, depending on what feels right for you, your schedule, and the pace at which you want to progress. All packages are valid for 18 months from the date of booking. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch to discuss how we might be able to work together.
